Band Uniforms

The uniform committee is in need of WOODEN COAT HANGERS!
The uniforms are too heavy for wire or plastic hangers (or they just slide
off of them). If you have some extra wood hangers, or know someone who
might donate some hangers, please send them to the uniform folks.

Maintaining uniforms is vital to the TWHS Band!
It basically involves the following:

At the beginning of the season, fitting the
uniforms to the students. This includes simple hemming of the
pants. (No trimming, so that they can be adjusted for
next year's students.) We desperately need parents who can sew.

During the season, occasional washing. The
key is that ALL the uniforms must be washed the same week. That
means that the uniforms are divided up among the volunteers for washing
and drying. More volunteers means less uniforms per volunteer.

Simple repairs - again, we need volunteers that
can sew.

During events, making sure that all the extras
(socks, hat feathers, etc.) make it to the game or competition.
