Parent volunteers needed for water duty at UIL. This is your once in a lifetime chance to see the national AAA champion band behind the scenes, warming up for a competition! All you have to do is pour water into cups and hand it to the kids... this is a fun job and you get to see the kids right before they go on! * Please attend our UIL performance at Moorhead Stadium on Tuesday, October 23rd. Even though this is not a competitive competition it would be much more exciting if the band had a great, supportive audience during the performance.
* Also, if you have a student who wants to attend College Night at the Lonestar Convention Center in Conroe on Tuesday AFTER the UIL performance he/she can leave with a parent immediately following the post performance band meeting. Just have a travel form filled out and turned in by Monday!!!

The Homecoming bags were a hugs success and thanks to everyone who helped putting the bags together, handing them out and all the contributions. I am asking for lots and lots of candy one more time. You can take advantage of all those Halloween candy sales.!! Reminder: please no gum or chocolate. Our plan is to give out candy bags for each room at Indy. We would also like to hand out some to the McCullough band students who will be taking our place at the College Park football game while we are bringing it at the Super Regionals. Our way of saying thank you to McCullough!
