TWHS Band Concert Attire 2008
FEMALES (must provide all of their own items)
1. Black tops with 3/4 length or longer sleeves ( a little bit of shiny on the tops is o.k., but keep it very low key)
2. Black palazzo pants or black pants (no skirts)
3. Black low-heeled shoes with strap (open toes are o.k. - - - stability for walking up and down risers and around the stage is the major point of concern)
4. Black hose
MALES (must provide everything except for tuxedo)
First off, please know that we understand that many boys have tuxes (pants in particular) that are too big. We have a very limited amount of tuxes and when the smaller sizes are taken, we have to start handing out the bigger sizes. Please know that we have some options for consideration:
EVERY MALE HAS BEEN ASSIGNED A TUXEDO AND SHOULD HAVE TAKEN IT HOME BY NOW : )
1. Jackets - not really any alternatives here . . . the boys must wear their jackets
2. Pants –
Shortening and lengthening leg lengths is encouraged
Waist - please either pin the gap or wear suspenders OR IF THE TUX IS TOOOOOOO BIG . . . .
3. boys may wear black dress pants (with or without cuffs) of their own
(NOTE: Black jeans are not permitted)
4. White tuxedo shirts, black bow ties and black cummerbund sets are available for purchase at J.C. Penneys, Kohls and Hobby Lobby
5. Black dress shoes or black marching shoes (shined . . . no scuffs)
6. Black socks

Concessions – Cynthia Woods Pavilion
Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion season is starting soon and the band boosters need your help.
Half of our "corp" are senior parents and do not need to make any money. You can start earning money this year to pay off next year's band fee. You just need your TABC seller's license, Aramark shirt, and band hat and you will be good to go. You can obtain that on-line at www.learn2serve.com and enter a discount code of TXABC08 and get 20% off. Also a free training class will be coming in April.
Space is limited so if you are interested send an email to concessions@twhsband.com. It is going to be a busy season out at CWMP, already 40 events are signed. Our stand is open at every pavilion event. The most current schedule announced is on the band website.
