Question of the Day - Uniforms!
Do you find yourself wondering what it's like in the TWHS Marching Band
Uniform Room???
Do you ever wonder why the students are attracted like flies to this tiny
area of the high school?
Could it be the smell of freshly laundered uniforms????
Could it be the lure of a fresh bowl of tasty confections????
Could it be the sound of the "rockin" tunes that are played in the
background????
Could it be the Love & Attention they get from the Hip & Happenin' parents
that hang out there????
If you feel the need to find the answers to any of these questions and,
of course, be productive at the same time, we would love to have you join
us!
We are looking for the following help during summer band camp (schedule
to be determined):
1. Fitting students in marching band uniforms NO EXPERIENCED REQUIRED
2. Hemming uniforms and attaching stirrups ON THE JOB TRAINING PROVIDED
If answering the questions above does not fill a deep void in your life,
but you would still like to help, please consider the following:
1. Candy (no gum, please)
**we keep a candy bowl in the Uniform room for the kids to have as a treat
when they come into pick up their uniforms during marching season
ok, ok . . . . . . so they pillage the candy bowl anytime they find the
uniform room open.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
2. Previous years marching band shoes
Believe it or not . . . students do forget marching band shoes on game and
competition days. We keep a stash for those emergency situations.
If you have a graduate or a student who's feet have outgrown his/her current
marching band shoes, please consider sending the shoes into the Uniform
Room.
3. Ironing board, iron and/or card table
**We would love to have a set of these items to keep in the Uniform room.
Anyone have an extra of any one item or all that you would like to donate?
Please contact uniforms@twhsband.com
if you are interested in helping in the Uniform room and/or donating the
items listed above. Thanks.

As the saying goes....It takes a village! The Uniform moms are looking
for any new parents who would like to help with fitting (pinning, measuring,
etc.), hemming and washing uniforms throughout this school year.
If you are willing and able (no real expertise required!) then let us
know! Washing is not that hard, we promise! And fitting and hemming is a
once a year thing with occasional call-outs for extra help.
If this sounds like something up your alley, email uniforms@twhsband.com
Can't wait to hear from you! Go Band and Guard!
Your clean dream team,
