Pit Crew - Band Trailer Lighting Project
I wanted to thank pit crew members for their hard work on the successful
lighting project for the Band Trailer on Saturday, August 15. We spent about
9 hours
but it was well worth all the efforts. We added 12 new 4 ft florescent
fixtures to the truck and replaced all of the wiring. There are 3 new
electrical plugs for each entrance to the truck and the stereo speakers were
rewired. The truck was also cleaned out which had about 8 bags of trash
inside. View pictures of the final outcome provided
by Bill
Taylor. The trailer is ready for this band season and will debut on 8/29.
I wanted to give Special thanks to our electrical advisors Bob Dantin
and John Weidig for their expertise in the planning and execution in putting
it all together. Thank you for your additional material, special tools and
experience contributions. Thanks Jim Wilke our current Pit Crew Chief for
the planning and procurement of materials for this project.
A big thank you to:
Tom Nolan (Pit Crew Alumni and our Truck Driver) and son Kyle (Band Alumni)
Gary Maxwell (Band Project Icon)
Bill Taylor (Thanks for the photos)
Roland Ramirez
Harold Dodd
Dan Lemieux (1st VP)
Gary Williford (President)
Last but not least I want to thank Don Tandy for allowing us to store the
band trailers and to work in his wonderful facility.
Duane Fritz
